He is married to Tanya Harris and the father of 7 children, 1 deceased and 14 grandchildren. He has achieved both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master Degree in Biblical studies. Pastor Harris is so adamant about helping others achieve a higher education that his church has become the first No Excuses University Church in the nation. His main goal in life is that of serving others with love and compassion.

Right after graduating from High school join the Marines from 1983 until 1992. I receive the Lord in 1983 while serving in Japan. I return to the military in 1996 serving in the California National Guard and served three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I retired from the military in May 2008 While serving the Lord I have held position as armor bearer , trustee, Usher, Van driver, Sunday School Director and Teacher, Evangelistic leader, Children Director and Executive Pastor. I have been married for 7 and 1/2 years to Romika L. Hersey we have a total of eight adult children and twelve grandchildren. Some of my hobbies are drone flying, target shooting and collector of model cars, guns, and a gadget geek.
MinisterEd Demerson was born in Amarillo, Texas. He attended Amarillo College and West Texas State. He is a Veteran U.S. Army and a Production Control Specialist II, CNS Pantex Plant. He is married to Phyllis, the father of 10 children and 19 grandchildren. Ed is the Minister of Music here at St. John.

He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1991 and he is currently attending Peace Unto You Ministries Bible Institute and Amarillo College majoring in Psychology. He retired from Tyson on January 2, 2015 after 21 years of service to pursue his calling to the ministry. He is currently the President of Dailey Recovery Service, a Licensed Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Facility. He is also the acting Evangelistic Pastor of St John Baptist Church.
